Mobile app guide

Use this guide for setup and daily workflows in the Whouno mobile experience.

1) First-time setup

  • Sign in with your Whouno account.
  • Complete onboarding and connect any preferred sources (Google, Outlook, Apple photos access).
  • Skip steps you do not want now; you can add them later.

2) Permissions

  • Contacts permission enables reading local contacts for import.
  • Photo permission enables browsing and attaching local photos.
  • Microphone permission enables voice notes on contacts.

3) Media workflow

  • Open Media to browse local library items.
  • Select photos to upload to your workspace.
  • Use selection mode to batch upload and apply @-tag captions.
  • Use the Faces option to upload photos where faces were detected on-device.

4) Network-aware uploads

  • In More → Account, enable Wi-Fi only uploads to queue on cellular.
  • Queued uploads continue automatically when unmetered connectivity returns.
  • Turn the toggle off for immediate uploads on any connection.

5) Map and profile context

  • Use Map to review geotagged media context.
  • Add or review media-linked context to prepare for meetings and follow-ups.
  • Use @-mentions to link media notes back to the right contacts.

6) Account actions

  • Use More → Account to manage upload behavior.
  • Sign out from More when switching accounts.
